A pretty cool weekend considering my initial idea was that it's gonna be boring..
I was planning to stay in on Saturday night, but in the last minute (literally), I changed my mind and decided to go to Paceville;
- Met a couple of people, one of whom is a dude I've spent a whole year with, at JC, during maths.. ahh great times!
- Bumped into a guy who kept saying I look just like Armin van Buuren. Yeah, right.
- Why buses will never work for me; got home early ~11.30pm so the bus was full of kids.. and one of them vomited. Great aroma of vodka. Of course, this had to be accompanied by a show from the bus driver. Ahhhhh..... can't wait to be 18!
Random computer geekiness;
- Started learning C. It left a good first impression on me, especially since it's very easy to write source, compile and run. And C code isn't so hard to understand (at least for now anyway). I just have to find something useful to code, other than counting lines in a file.
- Started using vi. Actually I started using vim, which basically stands from "vi improved". It's a simple looking editor but very powerful to ease with coding. And it runs in a terminal so, obviously, very fast, even over SSH.
Off to another busy week... have a good one everybody! ![]()
