Although not being affected personally, I saw the chaos on the net on various Maltese news sites. It just sums up most of the drivers' attitudes on a normal working day. (I say most, because there are a couple of really nice drivers, which I have met during my years of using this, mostly agreed on, crappy service).

One of the things that struck me was, that even if I had a car, I would be screwed nevertheless because they friggin blocked the roads! As if it was there own road.

And yeah, about the tourists. I'm sure they'll be coming back for more next year. Yeah, right.

Those who wanted to go somewhere else from where their hotel was, were probably stuck. Unless they rented their own car. And even off worse, those tourists who arrived/departed today. Since the really mature drivers, blocked the friggin roads at the airport. Really smart.

This is really a time when I consider to let my future take place some place else other than Malta. OK, the weather is really nice (albeit very hot), and there's lots of places to have fun and enjoy yourself, but it's a f*cking show.
