I'm sure you have witnessed this scenario before; A kid having fun at a playground and suddenly his parents give him the inevitable news, "time up, buddy!". The end result needs no description. Crying, frustration and what not.

Now imagine this scenario fitted to a 17 year old, me. There's no playground, but there's two weeks of mid-term, there's no parents, but there are deadlines and exams coming up.

I wish I can go to sleep and wake up in June, when everything is a done deal.

Actually, thinking about it, I wouldn't want to skip six months of my life just because of deadlines and exams. I might miss something interesting and life's too short to dump six months just like that anyway.
