Ta' Xbiex

marsamxett Wednesday is one of the days during the week on which I have to get up early. I don't mind at all, after all, I get to enjoy the morning. I start off with an English lecture, which is interesting to say the least. Although, I admit, I'm usually half asleep during the lecture.

After the lecture, I have 2 hours free until it's time to head back to JC.. I usually spend the first hour with a couple of mates, and the second our on my own. Here's were it gets interesting. I used to go for a stroll, without any particular place in mind where I'm going. During one of these strolls, I discovered a pleasant place were I can listen to some music in peace without anyone interrupting, without any cars whizzing by, without any toxic fumes and with great views (I'm not gonna talk about the new apartments which are being built, that have nothing to do with original houses / villas regarding aesthetics, because that's another topic). I don't know the exact word/name of the place, probably a local from that area will know what it's called.. it's simply a couple of rocks, with a really really really small lighthouse at the far end, which shelter the Marina.

lighthouse I spent a little less than an hour sitting on a couple of rocks, listening to The Eraser by Thom Yorke. A yacht left the Marina while I was there.. It was forking the blue Mediterranean waters so smoothly with its bow. Apart from the yacht, a couple of small boats also left the Marina, probably with hobbyist going out for a few hours of fishing.

Heh, as always, time literally flew away so I had start heading back to school. Back to two hours of math. Back to two hours of breakdown that is.

PS: pictures taken with a crappy camera phone.
