Exactly on this same August day last year, I posted my first post ever on the 'net. I can't believe a year has gone by already. I guess time flies, huh?

To celebrate this one year anniversary, I just have put online a total redesign of this blog site so if you're reading this through RSS, I suggest checking out the 'real' post on my website.

I'm still migrating from the old website, so please bare with me. The blog roll will be up in a couple of hours too. My favourite new feature are the comments. Yes, I did have comments enabled on the old site, but now they're a whole lot better! One major functionality upgrade is the 'reply' feature which you can use by clicking the 'Reply' link on the top right corner of any comment you wish to reply to. Also, as you might have noticed, with each comment there's a avatar associated, to be precise a Gravatar. This will help you to visually make and identification of a particular commenter (especially those who frequently post comments).

You might ask, how are you associating an image with a particular commenter? If you have a gravatar set up at Gravatar and you supply your email when you comment, I would be able to display your personal avatar. If you don't have a gravatar, or you don't supply an email, I will create a unique "monster" image which is dependent on your IP address, i.e. if you post from the same internet connection every time, you will have a unique monster image associated with your comment.

Please do give me feedback on what you think about the whole re-design. I don't care if you think it terribly sucks. I want to know why. I would really appreciate your feedback. I won't be getting any money or anything else other than your feedback.
