Oh Well..

This past couple of weeks nothing out of the ordinary happened.. just normal routine which I'm actually happy living with. Right now I'm picking up speed preparing for exams which will take place in the month of June. I don't want to fool around and live happy go lucky until the last day before the exams.. After all this is just the only time we'll be having examinations at JC. And, really, I don't want to waste another year of my life repeating same old boring stuff.

Just a couple of things which took place in the past days;

as always, discovering new music and artists. On Wednesday I found out an album by Satoshi Tomiie called Full Lick. Take a look at the link if you're interested.. It even includes a couple of previews. My favourite tunes are; Love in traffic, Up in Flames and Sincerity (part 1 & 2).

Satoshi Tomiie, in my opinion, is a very under-rated artist. His music is awesome and he isn't well known, even within the clubbing scene. Although that's good in a way.. the "kids" don't know about him, like Armin van Buuren.

On 20th April, I had a surprise party of a friend of mine. It was an awesome day, except for the fact that Ta' Sliema area was just stuck with traffic because of the Manwel Dimech Bridge.

I got a new computer. Got it online, arrived in less than a week, and a hell lot cheaper than Scan. Apart that I don't like Scan at all, their service sucks and I highly doubt what goes on behind the scenes.. But anyway, I don't want to end up in court with a libel case or something.

Oh, and it's kinda cool, a whole computer bought through the internet. My parents are still grumbling "F'hiex wasalna ukoll.. kollox min fuq l-intarnat!".

I'm running Windows on this new computer.. *ehem* This OS is just scary. Restarts every couple of minutes because I install some simple program, endless updates and patches, endless notifications and warnings about viruses and that my files might be harmful. And something else to be even more concerned about.. it's closed-source, therefore I can't find out explicitly what's going on under the hood.

I wish I can run Linux on this machine just like I do with my other computer, but that would be just a waste, since I bought it specifically to run applications which run only on Windows such as Sony's Sonicstage.

I've gone through a pack of fullscaps in a week (160pgs).. Good God, all that maths and all.. It takes a lot of practice to get things right.

And by the way, the only way I'm studying the subject is by trial and error. Read the notes and examples on the book, try out the exercises and where I fail, I'll try and find what's going wrong. If I had to let all in the hands of my lecturer.. I don't want to even imagine.

Anyway, until next time, take care. And thanks for still reading this ol' boring blog.

lol. I love the way they pronounce it. Makes it sound as if it's a far off world or something like that.
