While some students already started school, we [the junior college people] still have another two weeks left. I am waiting quite eagerly to be honest, not because I don't have anything to do in the remaining two weeks, but just a couple of memories from last year remind me about the awaiting experiences for this year! New friends (although I am dissapointed that I never hang out with new friends from JC this summer), the card games, the times at the library - listening to some live set while working on maths, the qassat and redbull, the jokes, the stories on Monday mornings... and the list goes on and on.
During these last two weeks, I got a couple of loose ends to take care of... I've got to finish my plans for my Java project for A-level and finish off my new site hadidacode.com which has been keeping me busy for this month. Then I got a couple of things to take care of "in the real world". Pay a visit to my secondary school, the airshow on 27/28th September, I've got to buy a new pair of shoes, maybe some jeans too. And of course, a couple of night outs to end the summer in style, which will be superb if they are going to be anything like last weekend.
Mentioning last weekend, I wore the "rub me on your butt" t-shirt for the first time and just as I imagined, countless looks and comments.. What I found best, though, was when I caught people looking at it I reply back with a simple wink. Great for a conversation starter.
Although yeah, all this enthusiam for second year, and I'm sure it will die off after a few days! Especially when I remember that I'm going to sit for my Pure Maths A-level in a couple of months. Damn, I'm crapping my pants already. So... enjoy the last few days until this blogs returns back to JC talk again.
