Great Day!

f16 Today was the best day since summer started, so far! I woke up pretty early to go to Ghadira Bay with an ex-school mate. Thankfully, I thought about going to the Bay early, the bus was not full of flocking tourists, however the bay was full of Maltese, with kids accompanying them. Damn kids, too noisy. Oh and there was this old Maltese couple next to us with the wife grumbling about this and that with her husband patiently listening to her. If she wasn't his wife, he'd have told her to sod off.

Since I forgot the sunblock back at home, I didn't afford to stay late in the afternoon, otherwise I'd look like a lobster for a week, let alone the excruciating pain. So we headed to Valletta, not looking stylish at all. The bus ride was terrible, took longer than an hour to arrive, plus every bus-stop that exists we had to pick/drop passengers, plus the heat, plus the "un-open-able" windows. After wondering around Valletta for a while, mainly the Upper Barrakka, we headed back home in a yet another terrible bus ride. Hell, I'd buy a car (with A/C) even if I have to go bankrupt, it's just too much to take in the summer.

When I arrived home, after having a shower and feeling fresh again, I turned on my computer to check what's updated on Google Reader.. Though lately I don't find anything much interesting, probably because of all this heat and feeds from my Maltese Blogs group are rarely updated with something interesting to read.. But I do understand, it's summer, leave the computer turned off and enjoy the beach.

Not long after, another friend popped up on my msn thingy, my best friend from secondary school actually.. We don't talk as much as we used to but we still meet up occasionally, and today he was going to be around at Bugibba so we decided to meet up. It was a pretty good night out actually, we were a small group so no arguing where to go and we had some time for ourselves to catch up on what's been happening, of course with a slight touch of nostalgia and stories of what we used to do back at school. Ah, great days, great days.

I'll try to go and get some sleep now, I should be able to sleep instantly from this "busy" day, but that won't be happening thanks to the consumption of red bull.
