I don't really like holidays that much.. I always end up bored with nothing to do (well, I can spend time studying and doing other school stuff, but that rarely happens). But these holidays are different.

They started off a bit on the negative side.. Like waking up very late and end up feeling tired all day and basically do nothing other than yawning all day long. Then on Saturday I had the bloggers meeting. That was the most awesome thing in a couple of months. However on Sunday I was feeling very bored and rather sad with nothing to look forward to.

On Monday I continued working on my new project.. Then I started preparing to go out (christmas eve). We went to have dinner at Valletta first (which was mostly OK) but afterwards we proceeded to go to PV. And it totally sucked. Too many people, I wasn't in a good mood, and I had something wandering at the back of my mind.

Then, Tuesday (christmas day), was practically wasted (as in productiveness).. just had lunch with family.. There wasn't an end in sight; bruschetti, soup, ravioli, chicken with vegetables, fruit with ice-cream, christmas log and finally, coffee. Hell, we were eating like there's no tomorrow.

I slept early on Tuesday, so on Wednesday I woke up around 9am.. pretty early, considering that usually, on holidays, I never wake up before 11am. Anyway, I loaded up a couple of software programs I use to develop code (Notepad++, apache, ecc) and, obviously -- playing some muzik (with the newly discovered software called Songbird) and started working on solving problems I have with the new project. Time was literally flying and I couldn't believe that the day has gone by already.

Thursday was practically the same and so was today. When everything starts coming together, it gives me a sense of productivity. At least I'm not wasting time (well I should be working on some math, but whatever, I lost my interesting in that subject, thanks to our beloved lecturer). It brings a lot of memories back from the last summer also.. I used to spend my time working on this blog engine whenever I wasn't working or hanging out with some friends.

Just as another rant; I can't understand what's going on here. Sometimes everything looks dull and boring.. the music I usually listen to becomes boring, the project I'm working on suddenly is not worth spending more time on and the only option is to sleep, just to get away from it. Then something happens (like receiving an email I wasn't expecting from a friend, or talk to somebody on msn, or whatever) and suddenly everything looks interesting and fun. The music I labeled as boring is now, awesome. When it's time to sleep, I wouldn't be able to, because I'm planning about the "interesting" things, that a while ago were boring. heh

2007 will soon be history.. Hopefully I'll be in the mood to blog about changes I've gone through this year.. It's been a rather interesting and positive year over all.

I should leave now, I have to prepare and get my butt carried away from this computer chair. BTW, the pic above is of the new t-shirt I ordered a couple of weeks ago. It's meant to be geeky I received it a week or two ago.. But I'll have to wait till March to wear it Anyway, gotta go!
