Fabulous Day

Thursdays are turning out to be quiet superb from the rest of the week..

I started off the day with some music playing on my computer, while preparing myself for another day at school.. I like to start off the day like this.. It kinda sets off the mood in a splendid way.

Soon it was time to catch a bus to go to school.. It was slightly raining on my way to the bus terminus, but as we were going through B'kara, it started raining more heavily.. Msida was terrible to say the least. Especially when I had to cross the street.. it was more like having to cross a river than a street. meh.

First lecture was computer.. The databases module. We're doing SQL right now... I know that shit inside out. It's kinda funny seeing the other students trying to get to grips with the SQL statements (those who were paying attention, since three quarters of the class were doing everything other than paying attention, including me. I find it too boring to pay attention to stuff I already know and which is too basic).

After the computer lecture, I had a math lecture. Sometimes I just laugh about the whole thing, sometimes it just fuels a breakdown. Out of a class of around 40 students, only four pay attention. And I have respect towards them because I sincerely don't know how they manage to keep interested. The other guys are doing either one of these; listening to radio/mp3, playing games on mobile phones, sms'ing (most probably their other half), sleeping (literally), talking to anyone who's next to them, eating lunch or "being excused", but in fact doing anything else other than having a piss. As for me, I've spent the lecture listening to Harrowdown Hill, a tune by Thom Yorke. It reminds me of a certain Saturday night, a great night in fact.

After that boring lecture, I had 3 hours free.. We went to Queens first.. I've never bought anything from there, but I've heard quiet a reputation about the place.. I bought a burger with fries.. haven't had one in a long while. I've never tasted anything like it. But I'm feeling guilty about it now, the damn thing was just a kilo of fat.

After eating that yummy burger, we went back to school and headed to the canteen where we met some fellow friends and we played cards.. We played cheat specifically. I'm not good with card games, but I had a laugh anyway. The game, as the name suggest, allows the player to take chances and cheat, but if he gets caught s/he'll end up with a trillion cards.. and if he doesn't s/he'll be one step closer to winning. It just amazes me how some of the players manage to cheat. One of the most "amazing" trick I've witnessed, was to stick some chewing gum underneath the table, and to get rid of cards, the player sticks the cards to the chewing gum. I've spent like half an hour trying to figure out where the damn cards were disappearing.

Those 3 hours went by really fast.. and we were back to computer lectures again.. A friend of mine and I, had an argument with one of the chicks, but anyway I don't care. She's just a whining machine. She'd probably hunt me down if she reads that. haha.

The day went by very fast.. it was time to catch a bus to head back home. Of course, I always have to meet some dumbass that sticks with me throughout the whole journey. meh. But who cares? I had fun during those 3 hours of goofing around and that's what matters.
