Just another day gone by. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, just a normal day.

I woke up around 9am this morning, pretty good for a week day I guess. First thing I did was continuing to set up my Kubuntu installation on my laptop... it's giving me a friggin headache to set up my wireless connection.. but whatever. Then I started preparing for another day at JC... I arrived at Msida quiet early so I took the opportunity to buy the various notes I had to pick up (we're in 2008, why can't the lecturers just upload the goddamn notes online instead of having to make photocopies?) When I was finished with the notes, I met a couple of friends in front of the college entrance, so I just stayed there talking until the time was up for the maths lecture to commence.

I don't know what happened with our math lecturer this week.. suddenly he's changed. For the better that is. Maybe he had a couple of vodka shots this weekend and that brought him to his senses. haha.

After the interesting math lecture (about limits), I had a free lesson.. I went to the library with the intention to work on some, yes you guessed it, maths. But I got carried away and instead I started writing some pseudocode for the programming project I'm working on right now.. but I gave up pretty soon.. mainly because I had no laptop to test code with me, no internet - therefore no references, and I just couldn't work. So I ended up staring at random stuff, and other students working of course.

Afterwards, I had a physics lecture.. it started out a bit boring but it got interesting as time went by.. I like physics, at least the stuff we're doing.. they're just so easy. Every time the lecturer asked a question, I had an answer, 99% was correct. I hate being the one that responds to each question during a lecture, but it's not easy to shut my mouth close when I know most of the answers.

After physics, I had another free. I didn't run into anyone with whom I usually hang out. I didn't really mind that much and I felt like listening to some music somewhere relaxing.. So I went near Msida's church, found a bench and just sat there. It was kinda "funny", on every bench there was a couple, madly in love, snogging and the usual stuff, and there was I, alone on a bench, with the only company being the music. Oh, and the delicious qassat.

Another hour had gone by, so it was time for my SoK lecture. It was a tad interesting. Most of the class was missing, either because it was the last lecture, or because there's something going on (I think there's the soiree coming up). As always, our SoK lecturer end his lecture 15 minutes before (which is great) so I managed to catch an early ride home.

It was a lovely bus ride back home, I sat at the back, very comfy seat, a driver that actually knows how to drive, and a friend with whom I genuinely enjoy talking with (and not, out of politeness, having to tolerate that someone who is accompanying me).

When I got back home, I was back to configuring my Kubuntu installation.. I was shocked with this news article.. how can you actually have the balls to kill your own mother?

And now I'm writing this blog post. I have a feeling that this post sucks, especially the English language. But right now all I can think of is about the cosy bed! So I'm off for a good night sleep!

Aren't those slow days lovely? :) I love bus rides :) not in Summer of course ;) and when they are not cramped :)
yeah, it's the same here. I hate cramped buses. And I hate being stuck in traffic, in a bus, especially in Summer - it gets too hot!
