Well, if everything happens for a reason:
Either it's destiny - Just sit back and enjoy the ride! I don't really like this one, because I'd like to have control over my own life.
Or else "fate" or some divine force randomly intervenes and erm... makes things happen? Or how would that work?

See, if you say everything happens for a reason, then someone/thing knows what will happen in the future, or that this thing will make something happen in the future or something. Maybe?

I believe in coincidences. =P

That's a tough one...I think that we are masters of our destiny but sometimes I like to believe in fate and that things happen for a reason...I like to believe in magic but perhaps things are simpler than that...

Note the "I like to believe" in my previous paragraph...just because "I like to believe" in something doesn't necessarily mean that it is the truth...

I guess that I don't have a definite answer as I wouldn't pick any side I suppose that I am in the middle...Oh my...tough question indeed!

Hmm.. I think I agree with all of you here..

Sometimes I say it was just a coincidence and some other time I say it happened for a reason. Especially when more than two things coincided.. like 3 or more particular events happened at a particular instant which led to something else.

I can't pick a side either, though I think, I lean more towards that destiny exists.

If there is an afterlife or something else after our death, this is a question I would like to have answered, definitely.
